Facilitating Your Personal and Professional Growth

Welcome!

So here you are, welcome to my site.  It doesn’t matter how you got here… search engine, my business card or referral.  Maybe you got here out of curiosity or someone suggested you look me up.  It is all OK.

WHY you are here, is OK too.  We are all human and we live in a highly stressful world.  Sometimes life can be overwhelming, there is nothing wrong or shameful about not being able to cope at some stages in our life.  The fact that you took the trouble to come here to this site, shows strength, NOT weakness.

Feel free to browse the site; I hope you find the answers to your questions here, if not feel free to email me or call.

My Approach

I use an integrative approach with a focus on Somatic Experiencing® and other modalities as and when needed.  The first task when a client comes is to help them find some balance internally and to have some sense of calm.  Then we deal with the “here and now”; what is really troubling them at that moment when they are in front of me and what do they need to take away to help them in days to come.  We discuss goals and intentions, then work out the number of sessions and frequency.

I look at helping my clients on a long term basis.  Most clients show up because they are in crisis mode, and the moment they feel slightly better, they don’t return until the next crisis or challenge. That is not helpful because ‘breakdowns’ and ‘crisis’, are usually a sign of emotions and stress that have built up over a long period of time.  At the end of the day, it is about how much ‘regulation’ your mind and body needs.  This depends on each person and the situations in their life.

My Logo

I’m often asked about my horse logo. The horse represents many things to many cultures.  I picked up on all  the nuances of what I feel it represents in the work I do.  The horse symbolises mental and spiritual vitality and freedom.  It also represents strength, perseverance, passion and nobility.  I intend to always be inspired by these positive qualities of the horse to help my clients reach their goals.
